We started our interview with multi-tasking woman Linda Wind asking questions that were just too small.  Linda thinks in large and inspiring terms! Leaving her top corporate job back in the 1990s, Linda saw huge possibilities in bringing women together to network and become inspired by other successful women.  She called her leadership conferences “Possible Woman” because, as we know, when women get together, anything is possible!

The clear mission of Possible Woman is “to make a unique and significant difference in the lives of women”. Linda believes this means all women – no matter what their economic background. To prove it she has set up Possible Woman Foundation International.  The non-profit foundation raises money for scholarships to support women working to improve their lives through education.  The stories are amazing. One of the 2008 awardees recounted her life in urban Los Angeles as one fraught with gangs and incarceration. With her scholarship she has enrolled in a surgical technology program and volunteers at a local elementary school.

Ever the Multi-Tasker, Linda can be found watching the 5:30 a.m. news while she works out and does her strength training.  Today Linda’s not only handling issues as they arise for  the upcoming 2009 conference but is already scheduling one for 2010.  “Wind” is the perfect name for this woman –  she and her possibility thinking simply cannot be contained!
